| Wow! It's been a month since I updated. Well, a lot has been going on. Let's see....I'll start where I left off, which is the beginning of May. I turned 19 on May 4th. I stayed home celebrating my b-day with my family. Mine parents got me the cutest phone ever. It's a red razr. I can put like 100 songs on it. So, I love my phone. My sisters got me the cutest shoes that I wanted for a long time and I also got bunch of sweet cards. Oh, yeah, and I also got two awesome cd's! Then the next day, Elizabeth, Abbie, Josh W, Abe and I had lunch together. They made us wait for them like an hour.lol They got lost!!! Then after that me and bunch of my friends went to see Spider Man III. That was an awesome movie. After that we went to Mr. Gatti's for dinner. I had a lot of fun there. My mom made me stand on the chair while everyone was singing the b-day song and staring at me. I was super red! The next weekend was the day of my graduation. Yep, that's right I graduated from high school. Thank God!!! Ok, let's see what's next. At the end of May, I left for the camp that I am going to be working at all summer. That whole week I was in the pool. I was being trained to a lifeguard. Now I am a certified lifeguard and I am also trained in first aid and CPR. So, if anybody is drowning I'll be able to save ya'll. Oh, yeah, right before I left for the training my sisters and I had lunch Josh and Abe. This time we were late!!!haha I had the most amazing time that day. Thank you guys so much for making that day awesome. Ok, moving on.....after that lifeguard training week ( by the way it was really hard...many times I wished that I didnt ever think about being a lifeguard or I hoped that my trainer would just fail me, but no she kept on pushing me) right away we started our first week of camp. This past week has been pretty easy cuz there were only like 300 kids. But you know what as easy as it was I am still exhausted. I'll go ahead and discribe how I spend my day at the camp. I get up at 6:30( which is highly unusual and extremely hard for me) take a shower and all the other stuff. Then at 7:15 I have to be at the dining hall for breakfast ( there has never been a time when I walked to the dining hall...every morning Abbie, two of mine friends and I have to run to the dining hall cuz we're always late and most of the time it's their fault). After we finish our breakfast, we start serving food to the campers ( most of the campers are weirdoes, jerks or flirts). Then we clean up after them until 9:30. From 9:30 till 11:15 ,we have our break... that's when I take a nap usually. Then again we eat lunch, serve and clean up. At 2 pm we open up the pool, river and the water slide. I lifeguarded at all those places...I think my favorite location is at the water slide cuz it's the easiest. We lifeguard till 4:45. Then...guess what we do next....yep, we eat dinner, then serve and clean up. We're usually done with that by about 7. Then we have an hour to just hang out. At 8 every other day we have to work at the consession stand. That's one place I like to work at. That ends at 9:30. After that I just hang out with my friends either in our dorms, the gym, or our crash cabin( a cabin for all the staff). We hang out till 12 and that's pretty much the end of my day. Oh, yeah about my room mates....I share a room with 2 girls. One of them is not there yet and the other one is a super boring person and I mean super boring. During the whole week she hardly ever talked to me and dont get me wrong I did try many times...she just doesnt talk to me or anyone else for that matter. But it doesnt matter I've got 2 awesome girlfriends. They're both so crazy!!! I love them. Well, that's about it! I would post some pictures, but I was in such a hurry to go home I forgot the camera there. So it's gonna have to be next time. I MISS EVERYBODY SO MUCH!!! CANT WAIT TILL TOMORROW! |
